Alanya, Mahmutlar

Mahmutlar is a town in the Turkish province Antalya, 10 km east of Alanya with a population of around 50.000. By building of holiday homes and apartments for European tourists, the towns transformation had a big influence of todays appearance. Roads and services have been improved to cater for the growing tourist industry. Mahmutlar beaches are sandy and some are stoney. A part of the nearly five kilometers long beach is natural.
