Grundig is one of Germany’s traditional names. But Grundig could not keep up with the rapid developments in technology and was saved only by the acquisition of the Turkish Koc Group.
Before the acquisition of Grundig by the Koc Group in 2008, her daughter Beko held only 50 percent of Grundig Intermedia. Since 2008, the Koc Group is the sole owner of Grundig.
Grundig is now positioned in the global market.
Grundig televisions, radios and DVD players produced now in Turkey, are going to be sold now also in the Middle East, in Russia, North Africa and North America.
